Mannatech is the premier nutritional company in the world because it has proprietary patents on several compounds that their researchers (MD's, PhD's, Pharmacists, Nurses, etc.) developed and patented. The foundational product is known as Ambrotose. It is a carbohydrate compound that contains Glycoproteins. These Glycoproteins have been found, by independent researchers, to be the key to cellular communication. Why is cellular communication so vital? In the case of any auto-immune disease such as Arthritis, the body actually destroys itself. Why? Because our cells don't communicate thereby allowing our protector cells to destroy our normal tissue cells and thus causing the resulting the condition. Ambrotose feeds the body essential Glycoproteins that it does not derive from our normal diet.
